Wallace Sewell

Wallace Sewell is a British design studio founded in 1992 by Harriet Wallace-Jones and Emma Sewell, who met while studying at Central Saint Martins and the Royal College of Art. Known for their bold use of colour, geometric compositions, and expert craftsmanship, they blend traditional weaving with modern techniques to create timeless, contemporary textiles. From their London and Dorset studios, every design begins on handlooms before being produced at a family-run Lancashire mill—ensuring all production stays within a 200-mile radius. With a global presence and collaborations spanning the V&A, Tate, Puma, and Transport for London, Wallace Sewell continues to champion sustainable, locally made design rooted in Britain’s rich textile heritage.
