16 sts and 34 rows = 4" [10 cm] in garter stitch, after blocking

NOTES:

Shawl is worked flat from left tip to right edge. Decreases at beginning and increases at end of each RS row create an asymmetrical, elongated triangle, while binding off in stages results in a sawtooth-edged border.
