CaMaRose Løvfald
Coming very soon to Loop!
We are thrilled to introduce a new yarn from CaMaRose, replacing their highly popular Yaku. While Løvfald is not a superwash yarn, it is incredibly soft and creates a fabric with the same gauge and colour range as Yaku. We absolutely love this yarn and believe it's perfect for a variety of projects! We've even adapted the Loop's Blanket pattern to work with Løvfald.
We also have some lovely kits made up with all the yarn you'll need to make the blanket.
Løvfald is a soft, 4-ply yarn made from 100% certified, untreated fibers (non-superwash). Comprising 60% merino wool and 40% baby alpaca, it boasts a meterage of 200 meters per 50 grams. The yarn is evenly spun, making it easy to work with, whether knitting or crocheting, and it produces even stitches and a beautiful finish.
Developed in collaboration between CaMaRose and a spinning mill in Peru, Løvfald is crafted from 100% RAF-certified animal fibers that are untreated with superwash. The spinning mill is RAF-certified, and CaMaRose holds both RAS (Responsible Alpaca Standard) and RWS (Responsible Wool Standard) certifications. RAF stands for Responsible Animal Fibres, encompassing the RWS, RAS, and RMS standards.
