Round Cushion with Smock - CaMaRose

Round cushion with smock is worked in 2 strands of Midnatssol or 2 strands of Månestråle, and worked from the center and out. The work starts on double pointed needles, but a change to circular needles is made, when needed.

Measurements: The cushion cover’s finished measurements, before mounting, is approx. 37 cm in diameter.

Yarn: 2 strands of Midnatssol 

Yarn requirement: 4 skeins. 

Suggested needle size: Four 4.5 mm double pointed needles and two 4.5 mm circular needles (60 cm or longer).

Gauge: The cushion cover is worked in the round from the center and out, therefore it is only possible to measure the gauge at the end of the work. It is recommended to knit a swatch

The gauge: Approx. 24 sts x 24 rows per 10 x 10 cm slightly stretched, on the 2, 2 smock part (rnd 34). From rnd 35 and forward, a 2, 2 rib is worked. On this part the gauge is 18 sts per 10 cm.
