Two of Daisies Workshop with Lindsay Degen
Join Lindsay Degen of @Degen.US in learning how to work both fair isle and Intarsia techniques used in some of her designs like the Flower Power Sweater (pictured).
We will also be releasing two very special patterns in collaboration with Lindsay using this daisy motif and these techniques. We'll show you more very soon!
Saturday October 28th
In this workshop, participants will explore two methods for interpreting the Daisies Chart, enabling them to create the charming motif. The class commences with a vibrant discussion on colour theory and selection led by renowned designer Lindsay Degen of DEGEN. Following the discussion, students will collectively cast on and practice knitting the Daisy chart using both fair isle and intarsia techniques. This class is ideal for beginners in colour work as it provides hands-on experience with two key colour work approaches.
Workshop: 3-5pm
*You'll be receiving our very special new pattern (launching soon!) and the charts to work from on the day.
*Please bring two contrasting colours of DK weight yarn and 3.25mm needles with you on the day.
About Lindsay Degen:
Lindsay Degen was the 2014 winner of the Ecco Domani Fashion Foundation award, studied at Central Saint Martins in London and at the Rhode Island School of Design before breaking into the textile and knitwear world. Years ago she got to know Loop during her time studying in London, and much of her yarn inspiration came from that as she was beginning her incredible knitting adventures.
