The ubiquitous brick textures in Portland, Maine, were the inspiration for this lightweight shawl in Finch by Leila Raabe. Knitted sideways on the bias, beginning at one side point and widening to the opposite side, the simple textured border takes half its stitches from the wide edge of the final row and picks up along the side of the rows to create the finishing touches for this nearly-symmetrical triangle.
