Katinka Mittens

The two sizes of this pattern are worked at different gauges using fingering weight yarn for the smaller size and sport weight yarn for the larger size.

Sizes:
S/M, M/L

Finished Measurements:
Circumference at palm: 6.5(8)”, Length 7 (8.25)”

Yarn:
S/M about 150 yards fingering weight yarn.

Needles:
1 set US 2(4)/2.75(3.5)mm needles or size to obtain gauge

Gauge:
28(23) sts and 56(48) rows = 4” in Garter Stitch. Since this pattern is worked sideways, row gauge is very important.

Additional materials:
4 stitch markers
14 – 3/8 to 1/2” buttons
Thread and sewing needle for attaching buttons
Cable needle (CN)
Tapestry needle
