Designed by Juju Vail for Loop
This is a very versatile shrug that can be made up in a variety of yarns.
Originally, it was made it in the bc garn Jaipur silk “Bollywood” version, as a decorative layer to cover shoulders in the skimpy-dress, summer months.
It's also possible to use a more practical yarn like linen in a heavier weight using exactly the same pattern. The pattern works equally well for either a fingering or dk weight yarn or a laceweight yarn as they each have a great drape.
The shrug is looser and lacier in the silk; sturdier and warmer in linen. Its a great staple to throw over other clothes.
