Stephen West - Rockefeller
Rockefeller is a fingering weight shawl worked in two colors. It begins with garter stitch and stockinette stitch short row shaping following by picking up stitches for a larger field of stockinette, yarn over shaping and little contrasting garter strips. Stripes and slipped stitches decorate the border for a simple columnar look and lastly, garter stitch striped wingtips form the long scarf shape for draping, wrapping, and tying. I-cord edges are incorporated throughout the fabric for a finished clean look.
