Star-faced, twinkling, by some accounts beloved by Ares, Asterope was mother to Oinomaos, King of Pisa. In other stories, she was the wife of Oinomaos and mother of a daughter, Hippodaima, and three sons, Leucippus, Hippodamus, and Dysponteus.
