Loop - Handmade Sock Darning Tool

Hand-turned in beech wood by furniture maker Gary Dunham in Scotland, this darning tool is shaped like a baby’s rattle for a reason. The rounded head slips neatly into a sock heel, giving you a firm, curved surface to darn against, while the slender handle reaches into the places a larger mushroom can’t; glove fingers and other tight, awkward spots.  Like all Gary’s work, each piece is individually turned, so grain and weight will vary slightly form one to the next. This beautiful handmade tool is built to last for mending that actually gets done.
