BUAISOU - Sashiko Thread Twists

Daruma threads have been made in Japan since 1901, and remain a benchmark for quality in the craft world. Their sashiko thread is designed to let each stitch speak clearly — smooth, consistent, and satisfying to work with.

This thread is hand-dyed in indigo, and each skein is individual. Natural variation in colour, texture and tone is part of what you're getting — the subtle shift between skeins, the depth that only comes from natural dye, the sense that someone's hands have been involved at every stage. It's fundamentally different from anything printed or synthetically dyed, and that difference is the point.
