Au Ver A Soie Silk Thread Packs

Very beautiful packs of threads from Au Ver A Soie in Paris, since 1820. 
A mix of threads in one pack with 5 different threads with different textures for all of your needlework projects as well as making a very beautiful gift.

Each kit always includes the silk floss qualities Soie d'Alger, Soie Perlée and a metallic thread, paired with two of the four remaining Au Ver à Soie qualities — Soie Ovale, Soie de Paris, Soie Surfine or Soie Gobelins.

All five silk floss qualities work beautifully together.

Each beautiful pack includes:

Soie d'Alger: 7 strands of loosely plyed silk that can be split easily. The silk is made of spun silk which gives it an unrivalled smoothness that is lustrous and soft.

Soie Perlee: two tightly twisted strands with an intense sheen. Made from pure silk,

Metallise Tresse 4:  Metallic thread

Soie Ovale:(Flat silk) is a low twist filament silk that is a smooth, and lustrous.30 metres on a spool

Soie Gobelins: 100% pure filament silk with a strong twist.
