Sara Kay Hartmann’s Latham is a striking crochet shawl. Clusters of lace stitches in sport weight Chickadee result in a rustic, yet graceful triangle, worked from the neck edge down through its elegant dropped lace border.

67" [170 cm] wingspan and 31" [79 cm] deep at center

YARN:

chickadee / sedum 142 / 5 skeins

HOOK:

One in size US 7 [4.5 mm]

GAUGE:

16 sts and 10 rows = 4" [10 cm] in double crochet, after blocking

After completing 7 rows in pattern, shawl measures 7˝" [19 cm] wide and 2ľ" [7 cm] deep at center.
