A boxy pullover with some sneaky lace hidden here and there
Gauge:
21 st and 30 rows to 4” (10cm) in Stockinette St on US 4 (3.5 mm) needles.
Before you measure, please take the time to wash and block your swatch in the same manner that you will wash and block your sweater.
Sizes:
XS (S, M, L, XL, XXL, 3XL). Shown in size M on a 35” bust.
Recommended ease: 10-12 inches (25-30 cm) of positive ease.
Finished Measurements:
- Bust circumference: 41Ľ (43˝, 48, 52˝, 57Ľ, 59˝, 64) inches; 103 (108.5, 120, 131.5, 143, 148.5, 160) cm.
- Upper arm circumference: 10˝ (12, 12ľ, 14˝, 15˝, 17, 17ľ) inches; 26 (30, 32, 36, 39, 42.5, 44.5) cm.
- Sleeve length from underarm to cuff: 16ľ inches; 42 cm (plus ľ” / 2 cm from lace edging)
- Length from underarm to hem: 15 inches; 37.5 cm (plus ľ” / 2 cm from lace edging)
Materials Used:
Yarn: 4 (4, 4, 4, 5, 5, 6) skeins of fingering weight yarn.
You will need approx. 980 (1100, 1200, 1400, 1550, 1800, 2000) yards in MC and 200 yd in CC. The sample was knit using Singleton by The Uncommon Thread (100% merino wool - 115g / 475y [434m]) in colorway Chrome (pale blue) for the MC, and Tosh Merino Light by Madelinetosh (100% merino wool - 100g / 426y [390m]) in colorway Dirty Panther (dark gray) for the CC.
Needle Size:
US 2˝ (3 mm) and 4 (3.5 mm) circular needles.
