We were over the moon when we saw this stunning take on our Loop with Lindsay Degen’s Two of Daisies Scarflette. Madeleine of Yama Yarn brought it to life with her Merino Singles and Silk Mohair, creating the most gorgeous version in her signature hand-dyed palette. Naturally, we couldn’t resist putting together a kit for you with her exquisite yarns. Simply beautiful!

This graphic scarf is a bold and totally joyful play on colour and texture. Each half is a mirror or the other, like a playing card. We've played with it more by swapping the colours halfway, so the main colour becomes the contrast colour and visa-versa.
This is worn like a neckerchief or a bandana or a 'lil scarf.

The kits come with:
All of the yarn you need to knit the scarflette, the printed pattern, and a special limited edition Loop project bag for this kit.

1 x 50 gram skeins of Merino Singles in "Spice Hunter"

100% Superwash Merino, 1ply, 100-110 grams/ 360m/394y per 100gram

1 x 25 gram skein of Yama Fibres Kidsilk in "Retro Peach", 72% Brushed Kid Mohair 28% Mulberry Silk, 2ply, 210m/230 yds per 25 grams

About Lindsay Degen

Lindsay Degen was the 2014 winner of the Ecco Domani Fashion Foundation award, studied at Central Saint Martins in London and at the Rhode Island School of Design before breaking into the textile and knitwear world. Years ago she got to know Loop during her time studying in London, and much of her yarn inspiration came from that as she was beginning her incredible knitting adventures. So, what a joy it was, all this time later, to do  this collaboration with her!

We’re incredibly honoured to have this special hand dyed yarn from Yama, dyed for us for these kits. Soon we will have some more linen merino yarn at Loop from Yama as well!
