Gepard Yarn was established by Sus Gepard in 1989. They are a Danish brand and as such influenced by the Scandinavian style and design tradition.

Gepard collaborates with small, family-owned, Italian yarn mills with tradition and extensive knowledge of spinning and dying – the sort of knowledge that makes them among the premier in Italy both for trend products and classic yarns.

In addition to starting the company, Sus Gepard has been knitting since she was a kid and as a designer specializes in creating patterns inspired by Scandinavian fashion and style - both trends as well as vintage design.
