Finished length:
approx. 13 (13) cm from the bottom of the ribbing to the bind-off edge.

Yarn:
Mĺnestrĺle from CaMaRose held dobule. The sample is in Gylden (9012).

Yarn alternative:
Midnatssol held double or Lamauld or Lamatweed held single. You could substitue a lace weight mohair held double or a dk/aran weight mohair  or snefnug held single.

Yarn requirement:
3 (3) skeins of either of the four suggested yarns.

Recommended needle size:
4 and 4.5 mm circular needle (40 cm), and 4.5 mm circular needle (60 cm).
Always choose the needle size that gives you the correct gauge. Making a swatch before casting on is recommended to ensure that you are using the needle size that will give you the right fit.

SWATCH:
Using 4.5 mm needles and with Mĺnestrĺle held double, cast on 28 sts, and k 6 rows; row 1 is from the WS. Then work as follows:
Row 1 (WS): K3, p22, k3.
Row 2 (RS): K.
Repeat row 1-2 until the swatch measures 13 cm from the cast-on edge. The last row should be from theRS. K 5 rows, and bind off from the RS.
Soak the swatch, and lay flat to dry. When it is completely dry, measure it. It should measure approx. 15 x 15 cm.

If the swatch is too small, try again with slightly bigger
needles. If the swatch is too big, try again with slightly smaller needles. Keep swatching until you obtain the right measurements.

The yarn requirements include yarn for one swatch!

Gauge:
Approx. 18 sts x 22 rnds = 10 x 10 cm over stockinette stitch with 4.5 mm needles and with Mĺnestrĺle held double.
