PetiteKnit - Albert's Pilot Hat

Albert’s Pilot Hat is worked top-down in the round on double pointed needles. The earflaps are worked back and forth. A pompom can then be attached on top of the hat.

Sizes:
0-3 months (3-6 months) 6-12 months (1-2 years)

Gauge:
22 sts = 10 cm/4 in in stockinette st

Suggested needles:
Size 4 mm (U.S. size 6) double pointed needles

Yarn:
Anina from Filcolana (50 g = 210 m/230 yards) held double, 50 g for all sizes. Some leftover yarn in a contrasting colour for the pompom. or DK weight yarn held on its own , as long as gauge is achieved.
