CC3 - Ichigo (pale pink)
CC4 - Yellow Brick Road (yellow)
CC5 - Rust
CC6 - Lise (dark pink)
(The kit is equivalent to approx. 3 full skeins of yarn - This saves you from buying 7 skeins of yarn.)
The contrast yarn colours come wound for you in yarn cakes and are packed in a Loop cotton bag.
Please note: The pattern is NOT included in this kit.
Pattern available separately. (print version from Loop or as a PDF on Ravelry through Mairlynd)
The original pattern calls for a 3mm needle. We knit our sample on a 3.25mm needle (US3) and it looks beautiful.
To get gauge as written in the pattern you will need to wet block your swatch very hard. Otherwise, go up a needle size or two as we did.
We also suggest if you are doing a gauge swatch before starting, use CC5 or CC6. This is because if you do the swatch in the MC (Winter) you might run out of yarn on the last row of MC and need to use your swatch yarn. As we are giving you more than you need of some of the contrast colours, it's best to use one of those, so you won't have to do that.
We recommend you handwash your projects with a gentle wool soap made for handwashing like Eucalan or similar.
