Discover the incredible Puno Upcycling yarn, a new addition to our shelves. It's not only environmentally sustainable but also comes in a variety of beautiful colours, all made from 100% upcycled fibers. This means no additional resources are used and even the polyamide is recycled. As you knit, you'll notice the unique blend of colours from these previously wasted but now repurposed fibres.

Puno upcycling is an upcycled version of Gepard Puno

Puno mainly consists of the finest and softest baby alpaca (68%) and an addition of 10% of the finest and softest merino wool and 22% synthetics for a thin net into which the baby alpaca and merino wool are stuffed. All are ecotex 100 certified and for sure all wool in all Gepard products are mulesing free.

This special production method results in a full but light yarn that runs about the double yardage compared to a traditional, spun yarn.

This gorgeous yarn was used in Anne Ventzl's super popular Super Selene sweater as a main colour along with Gepard Kid Seta.  You can easily use Camarose Snefnug as a contrast colour as it's very similar yarn and gauge.
