Carina Spencer - Brush Creek Cowlette

A cowlette is a cowl with the look of a shawlette when worn. Brush Creek has all the style of a lace shawlette without the fuss of trying to keep it stylishly draped around your neck! It is knit using Brooklyn Tweed LOFT in 3 colorways to create an ombré effect. 

Gauge: 22 sts & 30 rows = 4" in blocked stockinette. 

Finished Measurements: Neck Opening: 19”, Center Front: 15”, Center Back: 7” 

Materials Used: 300 yds (275 m) of fingering weight yarn divided as follows: color A = 75 yds (70 m), color B = 100 yds (90 m), color C = 125 yds (115 m) 

Needle Size: 20” circular needle in US size 5 (3.75 mm) or size required to obtain gauge. One DPN two sizes larger for loose BO (optional)
