Aitor Saraiba - Nocturne Kit

New kit from Aitor Saraiba!

A kit built around vintage textiles and handwoven fabrics, some of them hand-spun and woven on traditional handlooms. Aitor spent a long time gathering the materials, and every fabric inside is one of a kind.

The kit includes original embroidery templates, so you can recreate the stitches and appliqué from Aitor’s own piece. The original artwork was worked entirely in simple running stitch.

How to make your piece

• Use the large piece of fabric as your base.
• Arrange and layer the textiles however you like. Aitor has chosen each one to closely match the fabrics in the original work. Because the materials are vintage and repurposed, no two kits are identical, but each stays true to the spirit of the original.
• A full-colour photograph of the original artwork is included for reference as you work.
