Loop - Zabadoo Pattern
Zabadoo is peppered with textured dots and diagonal stripes that’ll keep you entertained in between delicious panels of relaxing garter. The stripes are a gorgeous illusion created with simple slipped stitches, and you’ll only ever work one yarn at a time.
Libby Jonson of Truly Myrtle for Loop 2018
We also have this as a wonderful kit which includes all of the yarn, the printed pattern and it comes in a Loop cotton shopper bag.
Zabadoo is a large, cosy wrap that’ll work perfectly tossed over your shoulders, wrapped around your neck or snuggled over jeans to add a little pizazz to your day.
This is an 8 page pattern with both written and chart instructions.
One size: 68.5cm (27in) at widest point x 264cm (104in)
NEEDLES & NOTIONS
5mm (UK 6 / US 8) circular needle, minimum 80cm (32”) length
14 sts and 26 rows to 10cm (4in) over garter stitch on
5mm needle after blocking.
Take time to check your tension and adjust the needle size as necessary to ensure an accurate finish.
Please note that gauge is not crucial at all on this shawl and it is more important to knit with a needle that gives you a fabric you are happy with after blocking your swatch. Size may vary though if you do not get the same gauge.
