The price of this wonderful workshop includes the tuition and a kit.

Sadly, these workshops have now finished but we still have the beautiful Nami Horikawa kits and a new sampler kit as well!

Nami Horikawa is a Tokyo-based illustrator, craft artist, and writer. She started mending her children’s trousers with Sachiko-like stitching and from there, developed her craft into the extraordinary beautiful thing it is today. She loves practical handcrafts that make her daily life more fun and joyful.

Unlike traditional Japanese Sashiko, Sashiko-stitching uses chain stitching and French knots to illustrate symmetrical patterns.  Friendly and open-minded Nami will show you all that she knows about Sachiko-stitching! In the workshop, you will Sashiko-stitch on cloth printed with Nami’s pattern. She will also show you how to use the Japanese running stitch.

Two classes available at 2.5 hours each.
