Meet + Greet with Aitor Saraiba & Tomomi Mimura at Loop | 22 May

We are so happy to be welcoming Aitor Saraiba and Tomomi Mimura to London this May for a very special week celebrating textile artists and creative exchange.

From 18–24 May, Aitor and Tomomi will be teaching a series of workshops hosted by Loop— including joint classes where their ideas and approaches meet, as well as individual sessions that explore their own distinct techniques and stories through textiles.

To mark their visit, we’ll be hosting a ticketed Meet & Greet at Loop — a relaxed and intimate chance to meet both artists in the shop, hear about their work, and celebrate their time in London together. We’re really looking forward to gathering our community for this.

You'll also have a chance to have your book signed if you already own one of Tomomi's books or you can purchase them on the day. 

Aitor and Tomomi will also be setting up a small pop-up shop featuring a selection of their beautiful kits and other special items. More details on this will be coming soon, but it’s sure to be something special.

They will begin their visit by painting the Loop window on the 18th of May, creating a temporary artwork in our space — something special to pass by and see evolving.

It feels like a lovely moment to celebrate textile artists, collaboration, and the joy of making. We can’t wait to share it with you.
