Lace Flower Houses - Anne Kelly

Textile artist Anne Kelly has created her magic with some beautiful lace and stitched textile embroidered houses just for Loop!

Anne has long been inspired by the house motif in her work, and influenced by folk art houses wanted to make a series using her trademark mix of textile and stitch. This limited series ‘Lace Flower Houses’ is made from vintage printed textiles and lace to complete them. The fabrics are sewn together by hand and machine and finished with Anne’s signature stitching. The textile pieces are very lightweight constructions with the fabrics placed and attached to a wooden house form. They can be placed on a shelf or display area and are finished on all sides.
