PP - Lana

“Lana” has a triangular shape with lace and cable border and addition of twisted stitches. The size is pretty generous, enough to cover shoulders, yet not bulky to be worn as a scarf. The bias construction makes it drape beautifully. “Lana” is knitted in one piece where border is knitted together with the main panel on one side and knitted-on on the other side. It starts with single stitch and is shaped by series of side increases. For a perfect finish a short-row technique is applied. “Lana” requires only one skein (480m) and there will be very little left after completion. This shawl requires lace knitting and some cabling. It is suitable for knitters of intermediate and advanced skill levels. Instructions are written and charted.
