20" [50 cm] circumference, can stretch to fit most adult heads

finch / 2 skeins Fox

Needles:

40" circular needles in size US 3 [3 mm] for magic loop
OR
16" circular needle in size US 3 [3 mm] for main body of hat
Set of dpns in size US 3 [3 mm] for crown shaping

Gauge:

36 sts and 44 rnds = 4" [10 cm] in cable pattern, after blocking

Construction:

Hat is knitted from the brim up with crown shaping built into the stitch pattern.
