These are the loveliest Beehive yarn holders.
Made in England of bakelite. From the 40's and 50's.
They all have a needle gauge on the bottom base engraved on the bakelite bottom, ranging from 7/8 to 14 old UK sizes. (approx 2.5mm-4.5mm)
Most measure approx 4 INCHES HIGH AND 4 1/2 INCHES ACROSS.
The Dark Orange beehive is slightly smaller.
Red Acorn shape - very rare shape and in perfect condition.
