Pam Allen’s gorgeous Rhea cardigan looks exquisite in a linen yarn with a ribbon-like structure like Kestrel. Featuring garter stitch and sweet lace details at the back panel and open fronts, this a-line sweater is worked from seamlessly from the bottom up.

Kestrel / ash 515 / 9 (10, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14) skeins
NEEDLES:
32"circular in sizes US 8 and 9 [5 and 5.5 mm] / set dpns in sizes US 8 and 9 [5 and 5.5 mm]
GAUGE:
15 sts and 20 rows = 4" [10 cm] in stockinette stitch with larger needles, after blocking
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Long-tail and backward loop cast ons, wrap-and-turn short rows, three-needle bind off, seaming (links provided).
Loop does not currently stock Kestrel but other chunky weight yarns can be substituted
