
Olgajazzy Swiss Cross Cowl
SWISS CROSS COWL
This version of crosses patterning is worked in thicker yarn and smaller scale for an instant gratification accessory. This cowl is worked from the bottom up and in the round with live stitches later grafted in colorowork to form a continuous seamless tube. With additional volume and doubled thickness it provides extra warmth and shelters one’s neck from the elements.
Gauge:
10 sts and 16 rows = 4” in colorwork pattern worked in the round, after washing, measured when dry
Finished Measurements:
32” finished circumference
15” unfolded height
7.5” folded height

Brooklyn Tweed Quarry (100% American Targhee-Columbia wool, 200 yards/183 meters/100g);
(MC) - 1 skein in color Lazulite
(CC) - 1 skein in color Moonstone
OR about 200 yards each color of any chunky weight yarn
US 11 (8 mm) circular, 24-32” long
