Loop - Bequem Eleganz Sock Kit from 52 weeks of Socks Vol 2
Designed by Emma Brace
We are so happy to bring you this beautiful kit for Emma's Bequem Eleganz socks in the new "52 Weeks of Socks Volume 2" book by Laine Publishing.
Your kit will include all the yarn you'll need to create these beautiful textured socks in the Daughter of a Shepherd Drover Sock Yarn whernside brown colourway with the Boulettes Chaussettes Sock by (Vi)Laines as a contrast colour in "skinny dipping". The kit also comes with one of our Loop cotton project bags!
There is something cosy yet elegant about a pair of cream-and-brown textured socks. Inspired by the simple Seed Stitch and a trip to Paris, these socks enjoy mixing techniques and textures.

CONSTRUCTION
These socks are knitted from the top down with a short row heel and a simple detail running down the back and sides. The cast-on edge is knitted holding two strands of MC together with one strand of CC. The CC thread is then cut to work the cuff with two strands of MC held double. This results in a plump fold-over cuff. After the cuff, both MC and CC are used single-stranded.
