Anemone Shawl Kit
We're super excited to bring you this kit launching a beautiful new shawl designed by Dee Hardwicke! This is a big, wide, fabulous wrap.
The Anemone Shawl kit comes with all of the very beautiful John Arbon Appledore yarn you need and the printed pattern.
This is the newest yarn from the mill of John Arbon so it is extra special.
40% Devon Closewool / 40% Romney / 20% Exmoor Blueface
This comes in a specially designed project bag that we've made to celebrate this beautiful pattern. The design of the bag is based on the watercolour that Dee made that inspired the design of Anemone. It also comes with a sweet handmade tag from Dee Hardwicke saying 'With love'. All of this makes for a very special knitting kit!
Everything you need other than the needles!
Inspired by traditional tweedy textiles, John Arbon Textiles' Appledore’s gorgeous colours are blended using four or five different base shades, creating a sublime richness.
The knitting technique used is FairIsle and the wrap is worked flat.
Loop does not usually stock the Appledore DK base and it is only available in this kit.
The Kit includes:
A - 3 x 100g skeins in Payhembury (charcoal)
B - 2 x 100g skeins in Pig Snout (dark pink)
C - 1 x 100g skein in Quench (light pink)
You’ll need a total of approx 560m / 612 yds of DK yarn to make this shawl.
