With less positive ease at back, it can accommodate bust measurements up to about 60-64” [152.5-162.5 cm].

YARN:

owl / cranberry 320 / 17 (18, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24) skeins

NEEDLES:

40" circular in size US 8 [5 mm] / set dpns in size US 6 and 8 [4 and 5 mm]

GAUGE:

15˝ sts and 32 rows = 4" [10 cm] in garter stitch with larger needle, after blocking / 16 sts and 26 rows = 4" [10 cm] in stockinette stitch with larger needle, after blocking

NOTES:

Cardigan is knitted from center back hem with increases at center and edges every RS row. Stitches for arm opening are worked with waste yarn for afterthought sleeves, then fronts are continued separately to end, with decreases at both edges every RS row. Stitches are picked up from waste yarn for sleeve, cap is shaped with short rows, then sleeve is knitted in the round to the cuff.
