
Biches & Buches - No. 23 Wrap
Some years ago, louise showed me a photo of a lace sweater knit in a big wool and i liked the combination of the delicate lace pattern and the more rough yarn. How would I transfor this idea into a different design and piece : that was the beginning of no. 23. Knit in our le petit lambswool held double for the two lace patterns, and the borders are in two-coloured ribbing.

Color 1 : Biches & Bűches Le Petit Lambswool, color beige (held double - 10 skeins)
Color 2 : Biches & Bűches Le Petit Lambswool, color blue grey (1 skein)

Color 1 : 1 strand of Biches & Bűches Le Petit Lambswool, color dark red (5 skeins) and 1 strand of Isager Alpaca 1 col. 21 (150g) held together throughout
Color 2 : Biches & Bűches Le Petit Lambswool, color blue green (1 skein)
Tension/Gauge:
19 stitches and 27 rows = 4" [10x10cm] in lace pattern A + B + two-colored ribbing using US 6 [4 mm – UK 8] needles, after blocking
