She is an artist and a creator of darning-embroidery. Her 1st book “\u003ca href=\"https:\/\/loopknitting.com\/collections\/embroidery-mending-books\/products\/embroidery-with-darning-stitch-book-tomomi-mimura\"\u003eDarning-embroidery\u003c\/a\u003e” (2021) and the 2nd book “Big darning-embroidery” has sold over 60,000 copies in Japan. We now also stock her 3rd book '\u003ca href=\"https:\/\/loopknitting.com\/collections\/embroidery-mending-books\/products\/embroidery-sewed-with-the-darning-stitch-book-3-by-tomomi-mimura\"\u003eEmbroidery sewed with the darning Stitch\u003c\/a\u003e\"\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTomomi came across mosaic tiles in Guell Park in Barcelona in 2019 and was inspired to explore colour matching and mixing in her darning.
