Versaci Knits - Lite

Knit in The Fibre Company Meadow.

The essential year-round pullover, lite is a light and breezy basic pullover with ľ length sleeves and a scoop neck. The waffle texture adds just the right amount of interest, highlighting the unique color and texture of a special lace weight yarn, while the looser knit from the larger than usual needle sides provides loft and lightness with plenty of stretch. A classic design, lite is knit in pieces from the bottom up, shoulders are seamed and sleeves are set-in. The neck edge requires no finishing.

Size 8 US (5mm) needles, or size to obtain gauge
Stitch markers

GAUGE
16 sts and 36 rows = 4”/ 10cm in Waffle stitch (blocked)
Take time to check gauge
Note: This gauge is the result of using a much bigger needle than would normally be used with a lace weight yarn; when blocking, make sure to maintain loft of Waffle stitch; do not flatten

CONSTRUCTION
Front, back and sleeves are worked separately from the bottom-up, blocked and then seamed.
